CONFIDENTIALITY
Respecting the privacy of our clients, donors, members, staff, volunteers, and the Oaye Luta Okolakiciye community is a core value of our organization. All personal and financial information is confidential and should not be disclosed or discussed with anyone without proper permission or authorization from the Executive Director. Care must be taken to ensure that unauthorized individuals do not overhear discussions involving confidential information, and that documents containing sensitive information are never left unsecured or inadvertently shared.
Employees, contract workers, volunteers, and board members may have access to information that is confidential, privileged, or proprietary in nature. It is the policy of Oaye Luta Okolakiciye that such information remains confidential both during and after employment or volunteer service. All materials containing privileged or confidential information must be returned at the end of one’s employment or term of service.
Additionally, we honor and protect the privacy of all individuals participating in our cultural, spiritual, and ceremonial gatherings. No details, recordings, or observations from ceremonies may be shared without explicit permission.
