Heath R. Ducheneaux, BA
Board Member
Heath holds a BA in Lakota Studies and uses his education and upbringing to help relatives in the community. Counseling roles have been at the forefront of his work, first through his commitment to the health of the community through his work in domestic violence as a men's re-education counselor in which he focused on developing curriculum to work with men in culturally supportive ways. This led to continuing work in counseling with community members needing support for training and education to become self-sustaining individuals. Commitment to community is at the core of gathering knowledge and advocating for the empowerment of self as it relates to the roles he carries.
